What Each Lesson Covers

Lesson 1 — Joseph’s 7-Year Plan (Available Now)

Joseph saw seven good years coming and seven lean years behind them. He built the system during the good years. Most owners try to build it during the lean ones.

You get the four-bucket cash system and four forecasting questions to run every quarter. Read the full lesson.

Lesson 2 — Wealth Without Worship (Available Now)

“Money is the root of all evil” is not what the verse says. Three missing words change how you run your company.

You get The Stewardship Test — four checks that tell you whether money is a tool in your business or a master over it. Read the full lesson.

Lesson 3 — Solomon’s Wisdom for Better Decisions (Available Now)

Solomon did not ask God for money. He asked for wisdom to decide well. Proverbs 15:22 puts it plainly: “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.”

You get a decision filter for the calls that actually move a business — pricing, partners, expansion, and when to walk away, built around The Solomon Check — four questions to run before any decision that matters. Read the full lesson.

Lesson 4 — Who You Hire, Who You Trust (Wed, Oct 7)

Proverbs 22:29 asks, “Do you see a man skillful in his work?” Skill matters. So does character. Most bad hires fail one of those two tests, and owners usually know which one before they sign.

Lesson 5 — Debt, Risk, and the Borrower’s Trap (Wed, Oct 14)

“The borrower is the slave of the lender” (Proverbs 22:7). This lesson is not anti-debt. It is about knowing exactly what a loan costs you in freedom, not just in interest.

Lesson 6 — Honest Weights (Wed, Oct 21)

“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight” (Proverbs 11:1). Ancient merchants cheated with scales. Modern businesses cheat with quotes, fine print, and change orders.

Lesson 7 — Rest as a Business System (Wed, Oct 28)

Exodus 20 built rest into the week before there was a productivity industry. This lesson treats rest as an operating constraint that makes the business stronger, not a reward you earn after the work is done.

Lesson 8 — Build What Outlives You (Wed, Nov 4)

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” (Proverbs 13:22). Succession, documentation, and the unglamorous work of making a business that does not need you in the room.

How to Make Sure You Do Not Miss One

  • Subscribe on YouTube and hit the bell — MCNM Marketing. That is where every lesson goes live first.

  • Start with the scorecard. It takes ten minutes and tells you which lesson to watch first.

Start Here: The Joseph Preparedness Scorecard

Seven areas. Ten minutes. One clear next step for your business. It is the free tool every lesson in this course points back to, and area seven is generosity — which is where Lesson 2 lands.

Who This Course Is For

Owners and operators who run a real business and take Scripture seriously. Contractors, agencies, clinics, shops, consultants, nonprofits. If you sign the checks and carry the risk, this is built for you.

It is not a prosperity course. Proverbs describes patterns, not guarantees. Generosity is commanded; a financial payoff is never promised. This course teaches stewardship, and it is educational only — not financial, tax, or legal advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the next lesson come out?

Every Wednesday at 6:00 AM Pacific. Lesson 4, “Who You Hire, Who You Trust,” publishes Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The course runs eight lessons and finishes Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Is the Biblical Business Blueprint really free?

Yes. Every lesson is free to watch on YouTube with no sign-up, no email wall, and nothing for sale at the end. The companion Joseph Preparedness Scorecard is free as well.

Do I have to watch the lessons in order?

No. Each lesson stands on its own and ends with its own action step. They do build, though — Lesson 2 refers back to the reserve principle from Lesson 1 — so starting at Lesson 1 gives you the fullest picture.

Which Bible translation does the course use?

The English Standard Version (ESV). Every verse quoted in a lesson is checked word for word against the ESV before the lesson is written.

How long is each lesson?

Under ten minutes. Lesson 1 runs about seven minutes and Lesson 2 about six and a half. Each one is chaptered so you can jump to the part you need.

Scripture quotations are from the ESV. This course teaches biblical principles of stewardship. It is educational only and is not financial, tax, or legal advice. Talk with a qualified accountant, attorney, or financial professional before making decisions for your business.
